Natalie and Enoch, where to start? This delightful couple was referred to us by the University Club of Chicago team just under four months before their memorable November wedding day. Upon meeting them, we were eager to embark on the journey of planning an extraordinary celebration with them! Wedding day commenced at University Club, where Natalie and her bridesmaids indulged in a morning of pampering. Thanks to the talented team at Nika Vaughan Bridal Artists, hair and makeup came together effortlessly, leaving the ladies relaxed and looking absolutely stunning. A few rooms away, Enoch and his groomsmen were enjoying a delicious breakfast while gearing up for the exciting moments that lay ahead.
The day was beautifully documented by Tim from Tim Tab Studios, who began with capturing intricate details, including the meticulously designed paper products provided by Magnificent Milestones. (Just to give an aside that the process of designing the invitations and wedding day accoutrements with Mag Milestones was one of the mosts enjoyable parts of our planning process. Working with Kara was truly a dream.) Tim then orchestrated a series of photos around the University Club to capture precious moments with the wedding party and family before the ceremony.
On the second floor, the Michigan room was being transformed into a manifestation of Natalie and Enoch’s wedding dreams. Fruitwood Chiavari Chairs were carefully arranged by Chiavaris to create a perfectly symmetrical aisle. Thanks to Flowers by Stem, fresh fall blooms adorned the Club’s exquisite fireplace, fashioning the perfect backdrop for their special day. You can just see the ease in Natalie and Enoch’s faces. The day turned out just as special as they imagined.
Soon came the highly anticipated main event – the wedding ceremony! Natalie and Enoch’s processional featured their closest friends and family, as well as an adorable entourage of flower girls and ring bearers. Rev Beth Weddings conducted a profoundly meaningful and special ceremony to officially unite the happy couple.
Following the ceremony, everyone gathered in the President’s Bar for hors d’oeuvres and beverages graciously served by the University Club. While the couple and their loved ones delighted in the cocktail hour, an impressive transformation took place in the Michigan room. Guest tables were adorned with elegant and stylish linens courtesy of BBJ La Tovola along with the eye-catching centerpieces by Flowers by Stem.
Once the setup was perfected, we invited guests to join us in the Michigan room. Heartfelt toasts were shared, the cake was cut, and guests relished in the delectable food and drink. As the dance floor opened, Mag Events ensured that the group danced the night away!
