Leah and Vivek’s colorful May wedding was an embodiment of sheer joy and elegance. From the moment we met these two, their love for one another was contagious! Looking back on these fabulous photos by Hanna Walkowaik, their connection still radiates.
The day began with Leah and her bridesmaids enjoying a pampering session from Solo Weddings‘ expert stylists, while Vivek and his attendants relaxed in the stylish rooms of the Publishing House Bed and Breakfast.

Leah was a vision as she slipped into her stunning wedding gown. She paused to absorb the heartfelt words in a letter her parents wrote on the day of her baptism, marking a special moment for their family. Then, in a private reveal, Vivek and Leah shared their first look which set the tone for the beautiful day ahead. We were lucky enough to get access to the Art Institute for some truly unique couple portraits as well.
Now that the group was all together, it was time to head around the city for wedding party photos. Pontarelli Transportation whisked them away ensuring a safe and fun journey. Meanwhile, we coordinated the set-up at the enchanting Greenhouse Loft, now filled with Hedonia Flowers‘ vivid spring blooms. La Cocina Fusion‘s crew was already crafting a culinary experience.
Upon their return, the venue buzzed with excitement as Leah and Vivek prepared to walk down the aisle. Officiated by the charismatic Rev Bill, the ceremony was a heartfelt fusion of laughter and tender moments.
Post-vows, guests enjoyed tasty appetizers and beverages during a lively cocktail hour in the art gallery. Meanwhile, the vendor team was hard at work transforming the ceremony setting into a vibrant reception hall.
Vivek and Leah’s friends and family re-entered the transformed space, now a picturesque backdrop for the evening’s festivities. The couple’s entrance was met with cheers, and dinner service was interspersed with touching toasts. After dinner, the couple cut the cake — a delectable creation by Bittersweet.
DJ Max from Style Matters curated an epic playlist that kept the dance floor alight with energy. Guests who weren’t dancing could capture the moment in Greenhouse Loft’s photobooth or indulge in sweet treats from the charming Churro Cart.
