From our first conversation, it was clear that Amy and Brendan’s connection was something special. We met Amy at her friend Tricia’s wedding years earlier, making the opportunity to orchestrate her big day a delightful reunion.
We started off at Amy’s childhood home, while Brendan and his companions readied themselves a stone’s throw away at the couple’s own home. With Pin Me Up crafting exquisite hairstyles and Joey Claeyssen mastering the art of makeup, the anticipation was palpable.
Enter Lindsey Kay, whose lens began to weave the visual tale you see featured across this blog! The moment had arrived for Amy to jump into her breathtaking gown. We first arranged a reveal of Amy in her dress to her bridesmaids. Followed by a tender exchange with her father, alongside the surprise vintage Rolls Royce via A Dynasty Classic Cars.
Brendan and his gents, upon dressing, greeted Cloud9 Limousine’s trolley, marking the beginning of the journey to St. Giles. There, Amy and Brendan’s vows were exchanged, sealing their union in a meaningful ceremony.
As newlyweds, Amy and Brendan were met by the triumphant soundtrack of Brian Cunningham’s bagpipes. Then, the bridal party was off for group photos. Meanwhile, Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook was abuzz with preparations. Phillip’s Flowers spent time perfecting each centerpiece and bringing the room to life in color-rich autumn tones!
Cocktail hour unfolded seamlessly, with guests savoring chilled beverages and delectable hors d’oeuvres to the accompaniment of Orchestra 33’s pianist, setting an upbeat tempo.
The reception commenced with Amy and Brendan’s grand entrance, swiftly transitioning into their first dance, followed by Amy’s father’s heartfelt toast. Hyatt Lodge’s culinary delights were savored by all.
After a few more special toasts and a heartfelt thank you from Amy and Brendan, it was time to get the party started. Orchestra 33 ignited the dance floor, curating a playlist that kept spirits high into the night.
