It was an absolutely stunning wedding for the most adorable families! Madeline and Quinn were high school sweethearts and made it through a pandemic reschedule in order to finally make it to wedding day. The final result was well-worth the wait!
Madeline and Quinn had married “officially” on their original wedding date, so their Memorial Day Weekend celebration was all about the party. It made the morning timeline of getting ready at University Club of Chicago with beauty experts, Bianca Sansosti Artistry totally seamless. The ladies looked absolutely adorable in their shorty lounge outfits. Meanwhile the gents were living their best life with all the pool and taxidermy they could ever want.
Once adorned with her classic gown, Madeline met Quinn on the balcony so Averyhouse and Imagination Designers could capture their first look. University Club has one of the best photo spots in the city for this!
The ladies, in their crisp blue bridesmaid dresses, and the gents in their classic tuxes made their way to the gardens at the Art Institute for some group shots before it was time for the evening to begin. The lush peony-filled bouquets by Avant Gardenia were the stuff dreams are made of. 312 Limo did an incredible job fighting Memorial Day traffic to ensure they could get where they needed to be on time!
Cocktail hour was held in the gallery where the bright and fresh color palette of sky blue, white, and green, was carried through. Arlen Music provided a solo pianist to elevate the ambiance and of course delightful food and beverage by the incomparable University Club.
As part of our planning process we had spent lots of time working with Avant Gardenia to land on the perfect overall look for wedding day. Madeline’s tears upon entering Cathedral Hall tell me…we knocked it out of the park!
After an incredible meal and a few celebratory toasts (had there been a word cloud for the event, I’m fairly certain the word “finally” would have featured prominently) it was time to hit the dance floor. Front of House played spectacularly for one of the most epic dance parties of my career. SO MUCH FUN!
It was all capped off by the City of Chicago’s finest display of fireworks–all for the happy couple, of course!
We were lucky enough to get some footage from the day of the wedding ceremony along with video from reception day in the Imagination Designers video short–enjoy!
Cheers to Madeline and Quinn!
