Stephanie and Jimmy brought their 2018 to a close with the most special day of their lives, and we are so thankful to have been a part of it. The temperature wasn’t too low for it being the 28th of December, and the spirits were high!
We started off the day at Stephanie’s parents’ home, where she and her bridesmaids were made up beautifully by Tamara Holden and Elena Denning of Belle Row. All of the bridesmaids are best friends, so it made for a very tight-knit, loving group. Jennifer Gaudreau of Jennifer Kathryn Photography joined us to make sure she captured all the joy and anticipation.
Meanwhile, the guys were at Chevy Chase Country Club getting ready and enjoying their morning together. It wasn’t long before the ladies joined them at Chevy Chase for Stephanie and Jimmy’s first look and group photos.
VIP Limo took the wedding party to Immanuel Lutheran Church, and Stephanie walked down the aisle in her jaw dropping Nicole Spose wedding gown from Bridal Trousseau. Pastor Warren Schilf officiated the ceremony and Jennifer Lee-Stewart’s string quartet played beautifully. The ceremony was followed by an exciting sparkler send off!
After family photos took place at the church, everyone headed back to Chevy Chase Country Club to celebrate! Intertwine flooded the space with flowing, garden-like floral decor and warm, flickering candles. Stephanie and Jimmy added even more meaning with a memory candle, along with a sign indicating their donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Guests were then invited into the Devonshire Room, where they saw the stunning display of greenery hanging over the head table, gray linens from BBJ Linen, gold rimmed charger plates from Hall’s Rental, and an elegant cake from Lovin’ Oven Cakery. One of our favorite aesthetic choices was the credenza, which was filled with champagne flutes bearing the guests’ escort cards.
Guests enjoyed more delicious food from Chevy Chase Country Club, along with thoughtful and sincere speeches from the father of the bride, maid of honor, and best man. Jimmy also decided to make an impromptu yet eloquent thank you toast.
Stephanie and Jimmy finished off dinner with their cake cutting, first dance, and parent dances, and there were few dry eyes in the room.
Finally, the dance floor opened, and Mark from Something 2 Dance 2 engaged each and every one of the guests with his shining personality and skillful song choices. When guests needed a breather from the dance floor, they headed to the Magic Moment Photo Booth and let the fun continue!
The love between Stephanie and Jimmy was palpable, as was the love for them in the room. Friends and family came from near and far to celebrate this beautiful pair, and we wish them all the love and happiness in the world moving forward. Congratulations, Steph and Jimmy!
