Though Charlotte and Chad originally hail from Virginia, it was Chicago that brought them together—and that is where they chose to say “I do.” Their wedding day at University Club of Chicago, our home away from home, was the perfect celebration of their love story in the city where it all began.
Charlotte and Chad both chose to get ready right inside the club. Charlotte and her bridesmaids spent the morning being pampered in the Barber Shop with glam by the talented team at Rare Bird Beauties. A few floors away, Chad and his groomsmen enjoyed some laid-back time in the Game Room, setting the stage for a fun and relaxed start to the day.
Zachera Photo made sure to capture all the gorgeous details and joyful energy. Charlotte slipped into her stunning gown, and the excitement truly began. A heartfelt first look with her father, followed by a reveal to her bridesmaids, set the tone for the emotional moments to come.
Charlotte and Chad’s own first look in the Gallery on the 12th floor was an intimate moment filled with emotion and anticipation.
Afterward, the couple headed off with Zachera for a round of portraits. They then made their way to Lurie Gardens with their wedding party for the picture-perfect photo backdrop. Charlotte’s choice to let her bridesmaids choose their own jewel-toned bridesmaid gown made for a brilliant rainbow of attire. Paige Films joined the group to begin documenting the day in motion. Back at the club, Fleur was hard at work transforming the ceremony space with their signature floral magic.
With portraits wrapped, the group returned to the Club for family photos and pre-ceremony prep. As guests took their seats, Rendezvous Music began the prelude, and the ceremony was underway. The ceremony was officiated by a close friend of the couple, making it all the more personal.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the Library for a lively cocktail hour, complete with hors d’oeuvres, cold drinks, and plenty of mingling while our vendor team flipped the ceremony space for the reception.
Once the room was ready, we welcomed guests back into Cathedral Hall and introduced Charlotte and Chad to a round of cheers. They kicked things off with a warm thank-you toast, and then dinner was served up alongside heartfelt speeches, belly laughs, and happy tears. Rendezvous Music brought the party to life with an energetic set that had the dance floor packed all night long.
