It’s never an easy task to predict the weather for April in Chicago. Katie and Bryan’s April 2nd wedding day was filled with both snow showers and sunshine which kept us all on our toes throughout the day. Despite the unseasonable weather, everyone was all smiles!
The ladies were up bright and early as usual getting ready at the Virgin Hotel with snowflakes drifting outside of the windows. It sure made for a beautiful backdrop, but not exactly what we all had in mind!
Elena Bazini was there to capture the day’s festivities from the start. Natalia from Michael & Michael Salon and April Toofan made sure the gals were photo-ready. The girls looked stunning in their floor length navy dresses as they helped Katie into her own gorgeous bridal gown.

The men looked equally sharp as they donned their classic black tuxedos. There was no denying Bryan and Katie were a perfect match and couldn’t wait to get the day underway.

The first look took place on the top floor of the Virgin Hotel where the wintry weather created a snow globe effect. Before long the couple was the off to take photos around the city in their transportation provided by Windy City Limousine.

To everyone’s surprise, just after departing the hotel, the sun decided to make its debut. The bridal party was able to get in plenty of shots around town while the snow took a hiatus.

Once everyone arrived at Morgan Manufacturing it was time for the Ketubah Signing. The ceremony was full of laughter, love, and high-fives!

Finally, it was on to the Chuppah Ceremony. Morgan Manufacturing looked absolutely breathtaking. Kehoe Designs truly outdid themselves; the Chuppah looked magnifent draped in flowers creating the perfect backdrop for Katie and Bryan to say I do. The ceremony was lovely and went off without a hitch.

At last, it was time to celebrate and get the party started! Morgan Manufacturing had this incredible glow and one might say Katie and Bryan were lighting up the room as well.

The speeches and toasts filled the room with tears and laughter as guests enjoyed the delicious meal from J&L Catering.

As the “doughnut cake” was brought over, we had to play security against everyone asking “can I have one now” “do I have to wait until dinner is over”? Needless to say Stan’s Donuts was an absolute hit! The doughnut topper was the definitely the icing on the cake…or doughnut as it were!

One of the more heartfelt moments of the evening was Katie’s dance with her father to Anything Like Me by Brad Paisley. You could see the love and joy on both of their faces and it was hard not to be wrapped up in the moment as much as they were.

Once dinner concluded and the dancing had begun, it was apparent that this crowd was ready to get on the dance floor! Toast and Jam got the party started with the Hora kicking off the open dancing. Katie and Bryan were all smiles as they were swept off the ground.

The day was beautiful from start to finish and both Katie and Bryan were a true pleasure to work with. We wish them the very best in life, love and happiness!
