Katie and Connor’s September wedding was Chicago at its finest. With gorgeous city views and a venue in the heart of downtown, their weekend was simply amazing from start to finish.
Katie started the day in a beautiful and spacious suite at Hotel Allegro. With hair and makeup by Windy City Glam and lovely florals arriving from Pollen, the ladies enjoyed a quiet and relaxed morning. Katie got dressed with the help of her mother and sister, wowed her bridesmaids, and stunned her father before hopping on a bus from M&M Limousine and heading to the ceremony.
Connor also spent the morning at Hotel Allegro with his groomsmen, taking his time and getting dressed before departing for St. Alphonsus Church in sedans provided by Echo Limousine. With both Katie and Connor accompanied by the talented This Is Feeling Photography, every detail and moment was captured as the day moved along.
St. Alphonsus Church, with its magnificent architecture and detailing, set the stage for Katie and Connor’s beautiful and traditional wedding ceremony. Exchanging vows in front of their closest family and friends, Katie and Connor were all smiles as they officially became husband and wife.
After the ceremony, the wedding party returned to their M & M Limousine bus for photos around the city. Taking advantage of all the best downtown locations and later continuing with photos in the glamorous lobby of Hotel Allegro.
Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in Hotel Allegro’s lovely Savoy Room before moving to the art deco-inspired Walnut Ballroom for dinner where they were met with more beautiful florals from Pollen, music from Okyne Medialab, a photobooth provided by This Is Feeling Photography, and a dazzling wedding cake from West Town Bakery.
Katie and Connor cut their cake as guests settled in to listen to wonderfully entertaining and touching toasts from Katie and Connor’s families. Dinner was delightful and cake was served before Okyne Medialab opened the dance floor and kept the party going strong until the very end of the night.
