Quadrangle Club Wedding — Parker and Philip

Parker and Philip’s wedding at the Quadrangle Club of University of Chicago was a day filled with  love and emotion; the grooms were careful to put the focus on their union and keep the details on the simpler side. We were so honored to be able to help keep things stress-free and organized so Parker and Philip could enjoy their wedding day.

We started the day at the Quadrangle Club to take photos around University of Chicago’s campus with the talented Rebecca of Rebecca Marie Photography. She knew the grooms from college, and it made for so much more of a personal experience for them!

The ceremony was one of the most beautiful, thoughtful, and engaging that I can remember. It was evident the grooms had spent a lot of time and attention on every element to ensure that it properly represented their relationship and their love for friends and family members.

After the ceremony, guests made their way downstairs to the lounge for cocktail hour. The talented pianist who also played for the ceremony, Matt Peterson, entertained guests while they sampled hors d’oeuvres and mingled about the club.

Guests then made their way back upstairs to the Main Dining Hall for an intimate dinner. We love the classic details throughout the Quadrangle Club’s space!

The flowers from Fleur were simple and beautiful; just what the grooms were hoping for.

During dinner, a few of the couple’s closest friends and family members shared touching toasts that further solidified how perfect these two are for each other! We were tearing up behind the scenes listening to all the love in the room.

There was a great selection of music throughout dinner, and things definitely took a lively turn for some dancing later in the evening.

The sweetness of the day was made even sweeter with a cake made by a baker and family friend, as well as an assortment of Bennison’s Bakery treats.
