We always have so much fun helping our clients figure out the logistics of any event. Holiday parties are especially exciting because we get to explore some new ways to “wow” our clients through festive decor elements and special touches. “Mood boards” made by the client often get the ball rolling at the beginning of the planning process.
This year we are honored to be planning a holiday party for the third year in a row. The event fêtes the senior staff of a north suburban family-owned company at the Chairman’s home in Lake Forest. It has been fun to look back at last year’s event to decide what elements we will reuse and what to bring in fresh.
The 2017 party was a complete success thanks to a perfect menu from the incredible team at Boutique Bites, beautiful stationery from Studio M Creations, holiday decor and flawless landscaping by Rocco Fiore & Sons, and rentals from BBJ Linen and Hall’s Rental Service. We thought we’d show you a small glimpse of how the night came into fruition.
Our client reached out to us last August to get the ball rolling on this incredible party. We connected them with Meredith from Studio M Creations who created a one of a kind invitation suite including a puzzle held in a green velvet bag. Guests constructed the puzzle to show party information upon completion.
Next, we reached out to the amazing Elaine Vazquez of Boutique Bites who started working on a custom menu that would wow their guests without being overdone. We decided on an incredible eight course meal that completely blew everyone away.
The decor elements were well underway thanks to our client’s landscapers from Rocco Fiore & Sons. They took care of the impeccable tabletop details and provided two large Christmas trees for the home as well as the luscious greenery draped throughout.
The rentals played a huge part in the aesthetic of the day’s events. Thankfully, Hall’s Rental Service had us covered with their tabletop service items, copper mugs, murano gold glassware, gorgeous mahogany opera chairs with hunter green cushions and gold-embellished china.
Here’s a sneak peek of the final product (please excuse the iphone quality photos!).
We are eager to see how the 2018 party comes together and will be sure to share those details when it’s complete.
