Gomathi and Jeremi’s August wedding was beautiful and classic in every sense of the word. With much of their immediate family abroad, in India and Poland, Gomathi and Jeremi worked hard to plan a traditional wedding, while also adding personal touches that made the day their own.
The event began at the beautiful University Club of Chicago. The bride and groom both spent the morning getting ready with their closest friends and family, enjoying refreshments, exchanging personal gifts, and taking in the day’s special moments. Gomathi and her bridesmaids looked gorgeous with the help of Meghana Rose Makeup and hair services by Blend Beauty Studio. Tom of XO Films, and Brett of Pen / Carlson were there to capture each detail. The day was off to a perfect start.

Jeremi and the wedding party headed out in a trolley provided by American Trolley Company, while Gomathi was accompanied by her parents and soon to be mother-in-law in a limo from A1 Limo Service to St. Clement Church in Lincoln Park.
Jeremi escorted both his and Gomathi’s mothers to their seats, while the father of the bride proudly escorted Gomathi down the aisle. With a close family friend presiding, Gomathi and Jeremi’s wedding ceremony was beautiful and traditional with all the personal touches one could hope for.

The happy couple returned to the University Club of Chicago for a few more portraits before joining their guests for cocktail hour on the 12th Floor. With beautiful florals and décor by Fleur and amazing views of the city, the party officially began.

Guests moved down to the Michigan Room for dinner where they were greeted by even more beautiful floral and décor from Fleur as well as thoughtful and unique favors from the bride and groom — a beautiful bag brought from India with Polish candies tucked inside.
Gomathi, Jeremi, and their wedding party surprised and delighted guests with an outfit change as they were announced into the room by the band Maggie Speaks and all joined into a choreographed dance together. Gomathi and Jeremi savored their dinner at an intimate sweetheart table while enjoying wonderfully heartfelt speeches from their family and friends.

When the dance floor opened up after dinner, the couple added yet another surprise and personal touch. Jeremi joined Maggie Speaks playing the harmonica for Gomathi’s dance with her dad. Everyone was having a great time. Later on, Gomathi and Jeremi were able to sneak away to the 12th Floor balcony where they were able to share a private moment watching the Navy Pier fireworks.
