We loved working at the elegant Peninsula Hotel coordinating the final details for Roey and David’s beautiful wedding there last June. When they reached out to us, Roey was on a short break from medical school at Harvard while David was finishing up his time in Detroit working for Teach for America. Needless to say, these two were very busy and needed someone who could work quickly and efficiently with their vendors to ensure that the day went off without a hitch.

The day began with breakfast and Hair and Makeup by Morgan Marie Beauty at Roey’s beautiful family home in Hinsdale. Roey’s bridal party included her three gorgeous sisters and adorable baby niece.

They all looked on in awe when Roey finally put on her dress; everyone was so excited for the day’s festivities. Amanda Hein Photography did an incredible job capturing many intimate moments throughout the day.

When everyone finished getting ready, they boarded the limo and custom Rolls Royce provided by Elegant Motoring and headed towards the Peninsula, where the couple would have their first look.

The giddy couple was glowing and could not stop smiling at one another; it became very obvious that the two are very much in love. After the first look, the whole wedding party headed out to take photos around the city.

After photos, everyone headed to St. James Chapel for the main event. The ceremony space was gorgeous with two large floral arrangements on each side of the altar created by Kehoe Designs, who designed all of the personal flowers and décor for the day.

The ceremony was beautiful and the couple enjoyed a ribbon exit from their guests before piling into the Rolls Royce back to the Peninsula.

The Peninsula was prepped and ready for the big reception which began with cocktail hour on their beautiful patio. The weather was perfect as the guests enjoyed drinks and bites from the hotel’s catering team.

After the cocktail hour, guests flooded into the hotel’s incredible ballroom where they had dinner. Dinner included several heart-felt speeches and words of encouragement from people close to the newly married couple. After dinner and a first dance, Arlen Music Productions opened the dance floor with a high energy live band and dancing all night long.
