Claire was a bridesmaid in Julie and Marko’s wedding, and a guest at Brigid and Barry’s, so when she and fiancé, Brendan, reached out about their own big day we were thrilled! Our newest team additions, Kelly and Ashley, took the wheel to bring all the details into focus for their stunning winter wedding at Holy Name Cathedral and the Modern Wing of The Art Institute.
Claire and her bridesmaids began their morning at The Palmer House with hair and makeup by Elena Denning and Frankie Christina. Claire dressed in her gorgeous Vera Wang gown, and even received a phone call from the iconic designer to make sure everything fit like a glove (it did!).
The ceremony took place at the beautiful and historic Holy Name Cathedral and was officiated by a personal friend and mentor of Brendan’s.
Following the ceremony, guests boarded Windy City Limo busses to be transported to Terzo Piano at the Art Institute to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres created by Bon Appetit. While mingling went on upstairs, the Robert’s Floral Designs team was putting the finishing touches on the dramatic table arrangements on the mix of long and round tables in Griffin Court.
Following a delightful dinner which included toasts by Brendan’s brother and Claire’s sisters, High Society Orchestra took the stage. The rest of the evening was filled with dancing and fun as the couple celebrated with their nearest and dearest.
Claire and Brendan, it was a joy to be a part of your big day. We wish you the best of luck as you embark on your new life adventures!
